Overview
Northern Kenya’s wild beauty
This 4-day Samburu and Lake Nakuru camping safari reveals two contrasting worlds. In the rugged north, Samburu National Reserve is home to the ‘Samburu Special Five’ — Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich. Then Lake Nakuru dazzles with flamingos, rhinos and tree-climbing lions.

Why is Lake Nakuru famous?
Lake Nakuru is renowned for its flamingos and pelicans, and as a rhino sanctuary where you can see both black and white rhinos, along with tree-climbing lions and Rothschild's giraffes.
Will I see flamingos at Lake Nakuru?
Flamingo numbers vary with the lake's water levels, but Lake Nakuru remains one of Kenya's best spots for birdlife and is always rich in other wildlife.
